iTunes updated to 9.1 in preparation for iPad

Your iTunes should notify you of an update which would update your central media application to be iPad compliant. One of the things noticeable, is the reference to iBooks and iPad throughout the settings screen. The screenshot below shows the Books section and how it is organised, in relation to the other library items. If you click on it, you can play around with copying epub books across to it, so test it by dragging a free ePub book.

Unfortunately, from what I can see, you can only drag ‘free’ ePub books, not protected ones, nor PDFs, which is kinda sucky, but I hope iteratively this will get sorted out, as PDFs in my opinion make better technical ebook formats, because of the format le-way available.
